Fonds Number:
P417
Abstract:

Lady Osler has just heard that Lady Stamfordham is very ill. Lady Stamfordham did not find the letter from Osler to her mother written upon the death of her son from smallpox. Lady Osler recalls what she can of the story, but instructs Cushing not to use any names. Nothing has been settled about Bill [William Francis?] and McGill. Lady Osler is annoyed that the Library people allowed Ruhrah to publish the "Memoranda" Osler gave to Birkett before he left, after the war. May Osborne was in a motor accident. She mentions Dr. Whitnall and Archie [Malloch?], whose chances at McGill are slim.
