Abstract:

Lady Osler heard much about Maisie Byrd's place from Nursing Sister Gallop, who stayed with the Oslers. She thanks Chapin for sending the parcel filled with supplies for the war. Katherine McLennan remains in London, waiting for her papers for France. Revere will soon leave with the Royal Field Artillery. Joan MacKenzie heard that her fiancé, Fiskin, is in hospital in London. Lady Osler and Joan brought Fiskin back to Oxford, making it impossible for the Oslers to go on vacation. She delivers news of Mrs. Page, Adèle, Margaret Pearce, Jim, and the Max-Mullers.
