Fonds Number:
P417
Abstract:

Lady Osler reports that her husband looks well, although his heart aches with worry over Revere. She does not understand how Osler is not worn out, particularly as a result of the constant stream of visitors and advice seekers in their home. Dr. Spalding, a female doctor from Boston, came to visit. Lady Osler has written to Cushing asking him about the Harvard day at Oxford. She writes of the war and of the renovations on her home to repair the fire damage. She mentions Ottilie, Hilda Palmer, Jean, Bob, Marion and the Emmons. Archie Malloch cannot leave the country and will likely join the Canadian Army Medical Corps.
