Fonds Number:
P417
Abstract:

Note about Osler's kindness as evidenced in a telegram about Crawfurd's delivery of the Harveian Oration on "Forerunners of Harvey in Antiquity". Appealed to him not to fall short of the family tradition, his predecessors including James Adey Ogle, a previous Harveian Orator and Regius Professor and William Ogle, one of the early and successful translator of Aristotle.
