Brings to his notice an educational problem in connection with the foreign training of American medical men. They do not have an organization in London specially designed for the foreign students. Informs him that they are forming a lay Committee in London of British, American, and Colonial representatives to organize post-graduate instruction. Details what they need. Asks him if he or his father, or one of the Boards, could help them in this matter. Mentions the different things that American students can learn in England. Congratulations and thanks on the establishment by the Board of the new Public Health Institute at Baltimore. Welch is very enthusiastic about it. Civilities
