Abstract:

It was a great gift (Browne's "Miscellany Tracts"). Osler asks Mackall to send a brief memo that he will put in the book. Comments about it. He never has had a year with so many to do outside and so many worries. He has not finished his paper on the Early printed Medical books. Wishing Crous could help him. It will be an interesting study. Asks him if he can get them something for the Bibliographical Society. Mentions the Science room at the Bodley. His library grows. The Catalogue is complete. He got a copy of Ambroise Pare "Anatomie Generale", 1560. He got a 1673, apocryphal edition of "Le Malade Imaginaire". He has great scheme for his Bibliotheca prima. Mentions Revere's preference in literature. The latter is in the R.F.A. on the Ancre. Mentions that he has a heavy cold. Thanks for the book.
