Abstract:

Osler is sorry that Sprunt will not go to the Paignton Hospital, as they were looking forward so much to having him. Everything goes on here satisfactorily. They received orders to increase the number of the beds, proportionally to the number of men who will go to the front this spring. Details about the cases of frostbite. They are encouraged by the situation in France and by the fact that Germany has not finished with Belgium. Glad to hear that the work goes well. Revere is getting ready to go with a Canadian Contingent, and will possibly go with Birkett, Campbell Howard, and W.W. Francis. He is interested in literature and arts. Deplores that the war is going to interrupt his studies. Civilities.
