Fonds Number:

Abstract:

Osler thanks Packard for the book. Comments on it. Asks him to let him know if he heard of the original copies of Morton, Wells and Jackson, as he is getting a good collection of the original pamphlets on the subject. Hoeber told him that Packard was bringing out an edition of the School of Salernum. Asks him whose translation he is using. He has the manuscript of Harrington's translation, which is the one used in the Oxford edition issued by Cooke.
