Abstract: 

Osler is glad to hear of Mackall. Deplores that he had not landed in England, as he would have liked to talk to him. Revere is at the Canadian Hospital in Cliveden before joining the McGill Unit as Birkett's orderly officer. Asks him if he will go to Jena. Asks him to give his hearty greetings to the Ewalds and to the Mullers. Asks him to pick up in Holland the 1688 Dutch edition "Alle de Wercken" of Browne. W.W. Francis will come with the McGill Unit. Tells him that if they do not treat him well in Jena, he assures him a separate alcove in the Bodleian.
