Fonds Number:
P417
Abstract:

Like Adami, Osler has been looking for positive information and photographs (mutilated Belgian Children about whom Canadian and American papers were full). He does not believe there has been a single case of mutilation in England. Will ask Van der Essen, one of the leading Belgians here, if he knows of any. Asks him if he read the editorial in the Spectator on the third person. The latter is still active and lying. Mentions that he wishes that the Government would suppress the newspapers during war and issue a weekly bulletin. All goes well. Civilities.
