Abstract:

Osler was interested in Libby's letter in "Science", November 6th. Declares that he has been a long believer that the best way to interest young students is to teach them the evolution of the leading ideas in science. Mentions the experiment at the Bodleian with the History of Science room. The Singers are in charge, and they have six workers on various subjects. Glad that he refers to Dannemann, the best book on the subject. Advocates a teaching approach from the historical standpoint.
