Informs Mackall that Boggs had been sick and did not come to England. Osler cannot confirm his German trip. It may be impossible to leave because of the death of the professor of Physiology, as he is chairman of the Board of Electors. Mentions that he has the English Powder of Sympathy (Kenelm Digby, 1658).
