Abstract:

Cushing is lucky to get some Vesal items. Mentions that he had pick up a copy of Maxwell's reprint of the Tabulae Sex at the Napier sale. Mentions that he had been elected President of the Bibliographical Society. It is an embarrassing honour, he feel horridly amateurish compared to the professional fellows like Pollard. But he enjoys this Society. Mentions that his new section on the History of Medicine is going to be a success. He wanted to have Allbutt , or Norman Moore as President, but at the insistence of the the younger members, he has been elected. He was sorry, as he was afraid Moore was rather hurt, but he had a talk with him about it. Glad that he is enjoying Boston. Civilities.
