Abstract: 

Osler gives news of their holiday. He asks Jacobs if he will come to London before sailing. He mentions that he is going to the British Association meeting at Dundee. Schäfer is President. Carnegie has asked them to stay at Skibo on their way down, and the Howards invited them to Colonsay, but Revere says he must have a couple of weeks at home. He tried to buy the Pagel Library but deplores that Fock of Berlin has given the family an exaggerated idea of its value. He had promised $2500 for it. Civilities.
