Abstract:

Osler is sorry not to have seen Mackall but he has a heavy cold. The R.S. article has been fully answered. He comments positively on the prospectus on the Goethe book. He will give his memo on Robinson to the Press (Clarendon). He asks Mackall to let him know of medical items he sees, 16th century particularly. Osler thanks Mackal for the wants. He will come over in the Spring and see Jena and Weimar. He mentions that there are 910 books with Burton's signature at Christ Church and the Bodleian.
