James, William
Osler, William

James thanks Osler for his letter. Mentions that he is in a state of bad nervous fatigue. He explains that being lionized at Oxford terrorized him. Warns him not to invite his London M.D. to meet him. Considering his state of mind, he will be only good for a few intimate talks with old and new Oxford friends. Declines Osler's offer to stay at his house. Principal Carpenter will look after him. Civilities.
