Haverfield declines an invitation to dine in that great club. Gives Osler some precision about the army doctors which were of two sorts, Greeks and common soldiers, or medici ordinarii. Haverfield mentions that there were sick rooms in the fort and fortresses. he asks Osler to tell Barnes that he regrets not being able to listen to his paper. Civilities.
