Clulow remarks that it is strange that the Press did not advise Cushing about the India paper edition of "Life of Sir William Osler." He apologizes for the quality of the drawing of Osler that appeared in a recent advertisement for the book [see CUS417/57.246]. He asks for a copy of Sargent's drawing, which could be used instead. As per Cushing's request, a copy of the biography was forwarded to George S. Hutchinson.
At Cushing's request, Clulow will send Chapman a letter regarding the India paper edition of "Life of Sir William Osler." He awaits the photograph of Sargent's portrait of Osler. A copy of the biography was sent to George S. Huntington. He sends a copy of a review that appeared in Time Magazine on July 13.
Clulow thanks Cushing for supplying a copy of Sargent's sketch of Osler. He is not in favour of doing a second India paper edition of Cushing's "Life of Sir William Osler." He encloses a copy of the most recent circular for the book [see CUS417/57.256].
