Osler thanks McGuire for his letter. Encouraged by the strong feeling in America for the Allies. Optimistic comments on the new army. Glad that the Germans are still fighting in Belgium. Mentions the 21 Belgian Professors in Oxford who are largely supported by American money. Revere has been in the Officers Training Corps. He is now 19 and will either apply for a commission or will accept an offer from a Canadian Unit. There will be ten members of his family serving. Civilities.
