Osler picked up "Flora and Fauna within living Animals" and the books on Rhizopods (Fresh-water Rhizopods of North America) and wants to have an original letter of the author to put in each one. July 20, 1915
From:
Osler, William
To:
Leidy, Joseph
Abstract:

Osler is delighted with the sketch Leidy sent. Recollections of his father's collections. Hopes they had been catalogued at the A. of Sc, where Nolan has his memory at heart. Will put the sketch and his letter in the "Flora and Fauna..." book. Cannot find any information about the foundation of the Biological Club. Suggests asking to the families of Wister, Hunt or Sellers. Will send him a note as Leidy was the life of the Club. Civilities.
