Letters sent to Hythe

Date:
May 29, 1914
From:
Osler, William
To:
Hythe
Abstract:

Osler agrees to come to a meeting. Explains that he is not sure that any words of his would be of value, so that he will not speak. The Colonials occupy an anomalous position here in the political world. Gives his position on the matter : he is favourable to a preferential tariff for the colonies and strongly against any coercion of Ulster. He has sent the slip on to Heberden.
