Abstract: 

Extract from Archibald Malloch's journal. Osler and Malloch visited the manuscripts room of the British Museum. Comments on a caricature of Osler in a Toronto newspaper. Radin has written an article in Medical Pickwick for August 18 on "The Literary Flavor in the Writings of Sir William Osler". Mentions an article about Egerton Y. Davis "The relation of medical literature to professional esteem" by Bayard Holmes, reprints from editorials in Lancet-Clinic of 1915. Osler is amused by that. Mentions that he still uses the name occasionally. Osler spoke of duration of those with valvular lesions. Osler gave Malloch a reprint of introduction to Life of Pasteur.
