Abstract:

Extract from Archibald Malloch's journal. Osler is having reprints bound and gives them away in sets. Project to write an introduction telling of those things which he had hoped to do. Says that it is a marked sign of senility to make a bibliography. Mentions Jerome Green, Grant, Paton, Bronson Cutting, and Edgar Wells. Went to Merton Library where P.S. Allen showed them about. Advice that Bowditch gave once to Osler. Osler's opinion on seminaries of special libraries for laboratories are important. Glad that the USA is in the war. Osler working on the talk he will give at Shorncliffe on the medical profession.
