Extract from Archibald Malloch's journal. Mentions the book of Parkes Weber dedicated to Osler. Osler is to review book for Annals of History of Medicine. Rand of Harvard was there for lunch. The latter is interested in Locke. Osler said that Welch was born with hypertrophy of the heart. Comments on the College and F.R.C.S. exam which is a disgrace. Mentions Osler's letter to the Lancet. Norman Moore would have to give up the power. Mentions N.M. the first Royal C. President since reformation. Cunliffe was here for tea and talked about postgraduate work for all kinds of students in Europe. Suggestion for his case cards. Grace told him of one of Osler's jokes on Jack Heweston.
