Abstract: 

Extract from Archibald Malloch's journal. Arrived at Oxford. Mentions some rare books that Osler has. Osler talked about James Hamilton, details on the latter's life, Osler wrote his obituary notice in Caniffs Physicians of Upper Canada. Strong has been there writing book on trench fever. Malloch saw old notebooks of Osler which contain lectures in Montreal, notes of questions asked of students at John Hopkins Hospital. He read the Bibliotheca Osleriana introduction. It mentions his last will concerning the catalogue if it is unfinished before he died. States that the work could be supervised by Gibson and Grace, Mackall, W.W. Francis and Malloch could see that his wishes were carried out. Comments on the writing style of Osler. The latter is very thin but cheery.
