Fonds Number:
P417
Abstract:

Osler thanks White for his letter. Reassures him that despite the attitude of the Administration and of criticisms of Wilson, people are delighted with the sympathy expressed with the Allies. Good comment about his letter to Owen Seaman. He has not yet seen the translation of his book. Asks him if he thinks enough has been made in America of the great work France did in the days of the Revolutionary War. Reference to "Les Combattants Francais de la Guerre Americaine", Washington, 1905. Civilities. Revere got his commission and joined one of the Canadian Units.
