Osler reports that they have turned and are coming down the Nile. Prof Sayre, Egyptologists and Weigall, the Director of Antiquities gave them hints as to what to see. He recommends the trip to Jacobs and his wife. He mentions his visit to the Tombs of the Kings and of 4 hours tour on a donkey. Mentions Barondi, their dragonian. He thanks Jacobs for offering a billet to W.W. Francis, but he would prefer him to stay at St. Agathe with his friend Byers. He asks Jacobs about his Summer plans. Civilities. He saw nothing at the Hoe sale.
