Copy of the letter he sent to the Spectator, which was published November, 4, 1911. "Maeterlinck on Death", a critic of Maeterlinck's essay. He is protesting against the picture given of the act of dying. No death need be physically painful. Attached is a copy of a letter that is pasted in this book in Osler's library. J. Duncan wrote him on December 5, 1911 regarding his critic made in the Spectator.
