Date:
September 1, 1913
From:
Osler, William
To:
Comrie, John Dixon
Abstract:

Osler answers Comrie that he thinks that he could take the Sydenham and the Boerhaave. Suggests Streeter for the sixteenth-century anatomists ; W.G. MacCallum of Columbia for Malpighi ; Power for Harvey ; Paget for Paré ; Norman Moore for Medieval Medicine. Does not know who to suggest for Greeks and Arabians. Tells him to save Brown of Cambridge. Says that it is time they tried to breed an Arabian scholar. Delighted at the success of the post-graduate course.
